Sage automation for invoices where every approval has a name
Sage keeps the ledger. The slow part is getting an invoice approved by the right person and posted correctly. Falnor builds a system around Sage that reads each invoice, checks it against your rules and puts a named approver on anything that needs one.
Book a discovery callWhere Sage work stops
Once a bill is coded and posted, Sage does its job. Getting it there is where the time goes. See accounts payable automation for the wider approach and NetSuite automation if you run both.
- Invoices arrive by email or PDF and are keyed in by hand.
- Approvals depend on who is in the office and who remembers.
- Nobody can show later who approved an invoice and on what basis.
What we build around Sage
The system connects to Sage through its own permissions, read-only first.
Read first
It reads the invoices, suppliers and purchase orders it needs and shows what it would do.
Follow your rules
Matching, coding and approval limits follow rules you approved, including who approves what.
Pause for a person
Unusual, large or unmatched invoices wait for a named approver, and the system chases them if they sit.
Keep the record
Each posting is logged with the rule followed and who approved it, so the answer to "who signed this off" is one click away.
Your ledger, your approvers
We do not move you off Sage. You own the system, its rules and its full record from day one, and it keeps running without us.
Works with the software you already use
We build on your own tools instead of asking you to move. Common starting points:
- Sage
- Xero
- NetSuite
- HubSpot
We work with businesses in the US, the UK and Europe.
Questions people ask
Which Sage products do you work with?
We build on the Sage product you already run. Tell us which one on the discovery call and we will say plainly whether it is a good fit.
Is Falnor a Sage partner?
We build on top of Sage as one of the tools you already use. We do not claim any partnership or certification.
Can every invoice still need a named approver?
Yes. That is the design. The system routes each invoice to a named person by your rules, chases it, and records who approved it.
Will it post to Sage automatically?
Not at first. It starts read-only and earns the right to post, one task at a time, once it is right at least 9 times in 10 on your real invoices.
