Falnor / Solutions

Accounts payable and invoice automation that stops at a person, not a queue

Invoices wait for a signature while your team chases details. Falnor builds a system on your finance software that reads each invoice, checks it against your rules, and routes anything unusual to a named approver before money moves.

Where invoices get stuck

Most invoice work is simple. The delay comes from the invoices that are not: a missing purchase order, a changed bank detail, a total that does not match, an approver who is away.

  • Details are re-typed between email, the finance system and spreadsheets.
  • Approvals wait on one person remembering to look.
  • Month-end turns into a hunt for what is still open.

What the system does with each invoice

It follows the path your best AP person already follows, and writes down every step. It connects to Xero and NetSuite.

Reads the invoice

It pulls the supplier, amounts, dates and references, and checks them against what your finance system already holds.

Applies your rules

Matching, limits and coding follow rules you approved. If nothing matches, it stops and says why.

Asks the right person

Anything unusual, large or hard to undo waits for a named approver, with the evidence beside it.

Updates the record

Once approved, it updates your finance system and tells the next step, and logs who approved what.

No payment without a person

The system begins in shadow, reading and proposing only. It takes over routine invoices one type at a time once it is right at least 9 times in 10 on your own invoices, and everything else keeps going to a human.

Works with the software you already use

We build on your own tools instead of asking you to move. Common starting points:

  • Xero
  • Sage
  • NetSuite
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Dynamics

We work with businesses in the US, the UK and Europe.

Questions people ask

What is accounts payable automation?

It is using software to handle the repeatable parts of paying suppliers: capturing invoice data, matching it to orders, routing approvals and posting to the ledger.

Will it replace my finance team?

No. It takes over the chasing, not the decisions. Your team keeps the judgement calls.

Does it work with Xero, Sage or NetSuite?

We build on the finance software you already have. Xero, Sage, NetSuite, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics are common starting points.

How do you stop a wrong payment?

Anything unusual, large or hard to undo waits for a named approver. Every decision is recorded with the rule it followed.
