Terms and conditions
Updated September 2026
falnor.io is owned and operated by Falnor Technologies LLC. Using this site, or engaging Falnor for services, means you accept these terms. Specific engagement terms are set out in the statement of work you sign with Falnor, which takes precedence over these site terms if they conflict.
1. What Falnor does
Falnor designs and builds systems, one workflow at a time, inside the software a client already uses. We deliver a working system, set up on the client’s own systems and tested on the client’s real cases before it takes live action. We do not sell software licences, seats or subscriptions, and we do not resell third-party products.
2. Engagements and scope
Each engagement covers one named workflow and is scoped after a discovery call. Scope, deliverables, success criteria, go-live gates and price are written into a statement of work agreed before any work begins. Work outside that statement of work is quoted separately.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are charged for the system we build, and agreed in writing after mapping, before any build starts. There is no usage meter and no rate card. Payment is made in stages against the milestones in the statement of work. AI and hosting costs incurred by a live system run through the client’s own accounts at provider list price, with no markup. We do not collect payment card details on this site.
4. Ownership and the exit pack
The client owns the deliverables produced under an engagement: the links to the client’s software (connectors), the workflow definitions, the standing rules, the full record of actions (evidence log) and the test cases (regression set), delivered on the client’s own systems in plain formats. Handing these over (the exit pack) is part of the scope. The system keeps running in the client’s systems under the client’s accounts and does not depend on a Falnor-operated service.
Falnor keeps ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods and intellectual property developed independently of the engagement. Nothing here licenses the resale or redistribution of Falnor’s own tooling.
5. Warranty and liability
Beyond the express success criteria, re-testing and support commitments in a statement of work, services and site content are provided as is, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee compatibility with every third-party system; compatibility is checked during discovery before an engagement is agreed.
To the extent permitted by law, Falnor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business interruption, arising from use of this site. Liability under an engagement is capped and allocated as set out in the statement of work.
6. Suspension and termination
Falnor may suspend or end access to the site or an engagement for:
- Abusive, defamatory or malicious behaviour towards Falnor staff or clients.
- Unauthorised resale, distribution or promotion of Falnor’s proprietary materials.
- Hacking, spam, piracy or other unlawful activity.
- A material breach of the statement of work or these terms that is not cured within the notice period.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data collected on this site is described in the privacy policy. Client engagement data processed in the client’s environment is governed by the statement of work and security review for that engagement.
8. Governing law and contact
These site terms are governed by the law stated in your statement of work or, where there is none, by the law of the jurisdiction in which Falnor Technologies LLC is registered. Questions about these terms: support@falnor.io.
