Xero automation for invoices, approvals and the work around them

Xero keeps the books. The chasing happens around it: invoices waiting for a signature, details to match, approvals by message. Falnor builds a system on Xero that carries that work and asks a person only when a decision is needed.

Where Xero work stops

The bookkeeping is tidy once it is in Xero. Getting it there is the slow part. The same approach is described for accounts payable automation and business process automation.

  • Bills arrive by email and are keyed in by hand.
  • Approvals wait on one person.
  • Month-end is a hunt for what is still open.

What we build around Xero

The system connects to Xero through its own permissions, read-only first.

Read first

It reads the bills and contacts it needs and shows what it would do.

Follow your rules

Matching, limits and coding follow rules you approved.

Pause for a person

Unusual or large items wait for a named approver.

Keep the record

Each posting is logged with the rule followed and who approved it.

Your books, your approvals

You own the system, its rules and its full record from day one, and it keeps running without us.

Works with the software you already use

We build on your own tools instead of asking you to move. Common starting points:

  • Xero
  • HubSpot
  • Salesforce

We work with businesses in the US, the UK and Europe.

Questions people ask

Is Falnor a Xero partner?

We build on top of Xero as one of the tools you already use. We do not claim any partnership or certification.

Can it handle supplier invoices?

Yes. Reading, matching and routing for approval is a common starting point. See our accounts payable automation page.

Will it post to Xero automatically?

Not at first. It starts read-only and earns the right to act, one task at a time.
